Relationships with parents

If you're opening and reading this section, it's likely that you have unresolved issues or lingering worries from past experiences with your parents. Some people may have never met one of their parents or lost them long ago, but still feel a lingering trauma from the past, as an unhealed inner wound, aching for the love and care that was never given.
A common mistake among those who struggle with their parental relationships is mentally or physically blocking one or both parents. By doing so, they unknowingly reject not only the pain, but also the strengths and talents inherited from that parent. This self-imposed disconnection can limit personal growth, making it difficult to fully thrive in life with only half of one's natural potential.
Mind shifting can help you find peace with your parents by looking at them from two perspectives:
- Recognizing their strongest qualities and actions
- Embracing what is beneficial for your own growth
By shifting your perspective, you allow yourself to accept the valuable parts of your parents' legacy—empowering you to move forward with a sense of wholeness and inner peace.
